This is a reworked Jeff Banks shirt. We have received it from friends as it no longer served the needs of that friend. One of the cuffs had a tear. It was recovered using patchwork and applique techniques in different denim types. These parts are scraps resulting from the industrial cutting process at the clothing factories or parts rescued from boxes of unwanted items of friends and neighbours after they have decluttered their wardrobes or from local thrift stores. The item can not be reproduced identically with respect to the type of fabrics and their exact arrangement nor to the seams irregularities. Each piece is individually cleaned, laid out, and cut at the Common studio and finished locally in Romania. Each garment comes with an individual tag that tells the story of the included parts, handwritten by the designer.
