Parts of elastic band pieces and patchwork denim. Different reclaimed denim parts arranged in a geometric patchwork manner and leaving the cut-lines and existing pockets visible to mark the previous shapes and lives of the item. Supported by a panties shape made from elastic band remenants from the designer's first collection as undressed by the wind. These parts are rescued from boxes of unwanted items of friends and neighbours after they have decluttered their wardrobes or discovered in local thrift stores. They are deliberately sewn in a DIY manner to illustrate the experimental nature. The fabric itself is the illustration of a process. It is not coordinated with a previous sketch, it is the result of the designer's intuition and therefore is unique in each yard. The item can not be reproduced identically with respect to the type of fabrics and their exact arrangement nor to the seams irregularities. Each piece is individually cleaned, laid out, and cut at the Common studio and finished locally in Romania. Each garment comes with an individual tag that tells the story of the included parts, handwritten by the designer.
