  • A fitted short dress made from different reclaimed denim parts arranged in a geometric patchwork manner and leaving the cut-lines and existing pockets visible to mark the previous shapes and lives of the item. Parts of denim waistbands are the reminders of 19th-century straps. The train is an individual and detachable component - not included. It is made from reclaimed transparent curtains. These parts are rescued from boxes of unwanted items of friends and neighbors after they have decluttered their wardrobes or items discovered in local thrift stores. They are deliberately sewn in a DIY manner to illustrate the experimental nature. The denim arrangement is the illustration of a process, it is the result of the designer's intuition and therefore is unique in each yard. The item can not be reproduced identically for the type of fabrics and their exact arrangement nor to the seam irregularities. Each piece is individually cleaned, laid out, and cut at the Common studio and finished locally in Romania. Each garment comes with an individual tag that tells the story of the included parts, handwritten by the designer.
