Parts of reclaimed denim pants and cotton plisse deadstock fabric. The low waistline is created by detaching the waistband from the pants and creating a cut-out. The inseam and sideseam inserts are reminders of the cotton flower shape as well as the knotted buttons made from the remaining scraps. Supported and easily adjustable by the elastic band remnants from the designer's first collection. These parts are rescued from boxes of unwanted items of friends and neighbors after they have decluttered their wardrobes or discovered in local thrift stores. The item can not be reproduced identically with respect to the type of denim fabric and its exact contours nor to the seams' irregularities. Each piece is individually cleaned, laid out, and cut at the Common studio and finished locally in Romania. Each garment comes with an individual tag that tells the story of the included parts, handwritten by the designer.
