Parts of contrasting reclaimed denim and transparent curtain fabric. Deconstructed old denim pants rearranged on the wrong side of the fabric and a right shoulder strap as a reminder of the cotton picker's bag. Left hip cutout in elastic transparent nude net fabric. These parts are rescued from boxes of unwanted items of friends and neighbors after they have decluttered their wardrobes or they were discovered in local thrift stores. They are deliberately sewn in a DIY manner to illustrate their experimental nature. The item can not be reproduced identically for the type of denim and their exact arrangement nor for the seam irregularities. Each piece is individually cleaned, laid out, and cut at the Common studio and finished locally in Romania. Each garment comes with an individual tag that tells the story of the included parts, handwritten by the designer.
